Since I have found out that we're going to have a little bundle of joy of our own, it makes me even happier that I know how to crochet and sew. I can't wait to start crocheting and sewing for my own child. I will also continue to do these things for my etsy store and for gifts for friends. Lotsa dresses

I love making dresses out of pillowcases. They are so simple yet so cute! I have seen these on children and they just look adorable in them. I also love them because they can be worn many different ways. You can put them with tights, bloomers, jeans, shorts, capris, etc. They can even be worn in the cooler months with a turtleneck underneath. I have just listed this in my shop.

New ideas

I decided that maybe people are more likely to buy baby booties in the fall and winter when it's cold. I was trying to think of some other things I could make that would sell in the warmer months also. This is what I came up with. Someone told me that she wanted a cozy for her lip balm and I just started crocheting and came up with the following items. I plan on making more of these in different colors. I'm also having a sale in my store on these cozies. When you buy or order a lip balm cozy, you get a free lip balm to go with it. The other deal is that if you order 5 lip balm cozies, you receive the 6th for free. These would be great stocking stuffers or bridesmaids gifts!
